PMG p 146 "I am so thoroughly convinced that if we don't set goals in our life and learn how to master the techniques of living to reach goals, we can reach a ripe old age and look back on our life only to see that we reached but a small part of our full potential.  When one learns to master the principles of setting a goal, he will then be able to make a great difference in the results he attains in this life."  Elder M. Russel Ballard

"Many of the things you can count - do not count.  Many of the things you cannot count, really do count."  President Dieter F. Uchtdorf

Alma 37:6-7 "Now ye may suppose that this is foolishness in me; but behold I say unto you, that by small and simple things are great things brought to passe; and small means in many instances doth confound the wise.  (7) And the Lord God doth work by means to bring about his great purposes; and by very small means the Lord doth confound the wise and bringeth about the salvation of many souls."

The faithful Senior Couples of the great Australia Perth Mission.  This mission would not be the same without the service these very faithful and loving Senior Couples give of their time, and talents in so many different ways!  We really  missed the Ibbotsons who had a temple assignment this particular night, and of course the Pitman's who are serving in far away Broome.  Thank you, thank you, Senior Couples!!!

A few photos from "Come and See"gatherings after the firesides with missionaries and their friends!

This is a belated posting of our great Elder and Sister Sheppard!  It was so wonderful to see them at the Mission Tour, as they came in and manned the office for Elder and Sister Marchant so they could attend.  Elder and Sister Sheppard signed up for a six month mission, but they grew to love their mission and love the missionaries so much that they stayed on for 20 months!  We love you Elder and Sister Sheppard!!!  Thank you again for your faithful service!!!

2018 Mission Tour with Elder and Sister Haleck

We were so blessed to be visited by Elder and Sister Haleck for our 2018 Mission Tour!  They taught us many wonderful lessons and the spirit was sweet and strong during the meetings.   Take some time this week and review the impressions you received and reflect on what you learned!  Pictures will be posted next week.  Sorry, but my mouse bit the dust!

Remember:

"The Book of Mormon is a springboard to testimony and personal revelation.  Use the Book of Mormon to help people have spirtutual experiences, especially a witness from the Holy Ghost that the book itself is true.  By consistently inviting people to live the principles found in the Book of Mormon, you help them develop faith in Jesus Christ and draw nearer to God."  (pg. 108 PMG).

"In a world ever more dangerous...the Book of Mormon:  Another Testament of Jesus Christ has the nourishing power to heal starving spirits of the world."  Pres. Boyd K. Packer PMG p. 108.

"Liken" to yourself and your investigators what you have read by finding application that are relevant to you personally and to your investigators (see 1 Nephi 19:23).  To "liken" is to create a mental bridge between understanding the doctrine and living the doctrine.  To read sincerely, with real intent, you and those you teach must be willing to act on the doctrine, to incorporate it into your daily lives, and as necessary to repent.  By living the doctrine, you will gain assurance that it is true.  pp. 110-111 PMG.
