Senior Couples Temple Visit

A sacred morning with many of our senior couples in the temple, today - we love you! "Inside this sacred sanctuary we find beauty and order. As we attend the temple, there can come to us a dimension of spirituality and a feeling of peace which will transcend any other feeling which could come to the human heart"(President Thomas S Monson, 2015).

Transfers, Mission Leadership Council and Zone Conferences

Over the past two weeks we participated in Mission Leadership Council and Zone Conferences. We learnt about THE most important tools in missionary work - the Spirit and the Book of Mormon. President shared information on preparing for the implementation of smart phones in our mission. This included ways in which technology can hasten the work of salvation and the safeguards for using technology.   Some photos below from transfers, MLC and Zone Conferences.

Farewell to our dear departing missionaries and welcome to our new missionaries

Thirteen of our wonderful missionaries departed for home last week. They have served with their hearts, might, mind and strength as representatives of the Lord and His Church. May your futures be filled with great joy as you continue to serve and love the Lord at home and wherever you may go. We love you each!

Mission Leadership Council

Today we gathered with the Assistants, Zone Leaders and Sister Training Leaders for Mission Leadership Council. The pattern of councils has been in existence before the world was, when Heavenly Father accomplished His great work through councils (D&C 121:32). In the words of President M Russell Ballard, Acting President of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles, "As we learn to counsel together more effectively, God will bless us with an increased flow of revelation and understanding and greater power to accomplish his work."

There area a number of wonderful missionaries departing for home next week, including three of our sister training leaders and two of our zone leaders. How grateful we are for them, for their leadership and wonderful examples of dedicated missionaries. We will miss them! Thank you to Sister Hamon and her daughter for the delicious lunch. Northern and Southern Conferences, Meet the Bennallacks, July 2018

Wednesday July 4th

This week we joined with the great missionaries in the Northern and Southern Zones for Conferences. Tuesday we met with the Northcoast and Dianella Zones and Wednesday with the Southern River and Rockingham Zones. We loved meeting each missionary and are deeply grateful for their goodness and faithfulness. We are excited to serve with them as we assist our Father in Heaven in His glorious work.

We look forward to meeting the missionaries serving up north in remote locations in future weeks.

"After all that has been said, the greatest and most important duty is to preach the Gospel" (President Joseph Smith, Preach My Gospel pg 12).

Farewell to the wonderful Fifes

Saturday June 30th

The Australia Perth Mission farewelled the wonderful Fifes today. They will be sorely missed and we and all the missionaries are deeply grateful for their faithful service and leadership these past 3 years.
