Follow-up training, a farewell to one of our dear sisters and remembering Anzac Day with the Dianella Elders

Our recent Follow up training for new missionaries and their companions involved linking with the country missionaries via Zoom. We discussed the importance of our call to invite others to come unto Christ by helping them receive the restored gospel through faith in Jesus Christ and His Atonement, repentance, baptism, receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost, and enduring to the end. How great is our call! We talked about loving and respecting our companions (1 John 4:7), looking for the good in each other, finding ways to serve each other, praying together frequently throughout the day, working in a spirit of unity.

Southern River Preparation Day and Country Zone Conference

This week we had a great Zone Preparation Day with Southern River Zone. We played volleyball, kickball and ultimate frisbee and enjoyed pizza and watermelon, along with an easter egg hunt.

Tuesday we gathered via Zoom with the Country Zone for Zone conference. We had training on things we had learned and implemented from Elder and Sister Ardern's recent mission tour. It was great to meet with the country Elders and Sisters in Kalgoorlie, Karratha, Geraldton, Port Hedland and Albany.

Zone Conferences

This week we had four Zone Conferences. On Tuesday was Southern River, Wednesday Rockingham, Thursday North Coast and today was Dianella Zone. Our theme for the conferences was centred around "For whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap (Galations 6:7). The Assistants taught on the importance of key indicator goals, the Zone leaders and Sister Trainer Leaders trained on how their zone will focus on achieving their monthly goals. We shared one of the five things we are each working on to become better missionaries. We followed up on recognizing our sources of power and the importance of Preach My Gospel as one of those sources of power. We had a Preach my Gospel quiz also. We love all of our Elders and Sisters!

North Coast Zone Preparation Day

On Monday we had Zone Preparation Day with the North Coast Zone. We played ultimate Frisbee, soccer and kickball and enjoyed some pizza and chocolate birthday cake for lunch.  It was a great afternoon together.
