Recently we had two zone preparation days, one for the Northern Zone and one for the Southern Zone. They began with a BBQ in beautiful Kings Park followed by volleyball at West Perth. It was a great afternoon together.
We are so grateful for 11 newly arrived missionaries who have arrived from Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne and Auckland. They have come to preach and teach the gospel of Jesus Christ here in beautiful Western Australia. It is a gospel of hope, of healing of progress and is truly is a message of joy.

This week seven wonderful new missionaries arrived in the Great Australia Perth Mission. They arrived from Victoria, Queensland and New South Wales. How grateful we are for these Elders and Sisters who as full time missionaries and disciples of Christ, seek to follow Him and invite others to come unto Him and His Church.

Follow-up training is always an important way to review how the first few weeks of training in the mission field is going. It is a time to re-evaluate, re-set and re-commit to helping new missionaries in fulfilling their missionary purpose to find and help those they teach receive the restored gospel of Jesus Christ through baptism and confirmation. The first twelve weeks of a missionary's life is very important to learn all they need to know and understand to be an effective missionary.
Below are photos of each of the new missionaries with their trainers at the end of our training meeting and lunch. They are each wonderful missionaries whom we love. The field truly is white already to harvest.
