Farewell to 6 dear missionaries

This week we said farewell to 6 dear missionaries: three sisters, one elder and our senior couple who co-ordinated the housing and vehicles for missionaries over the past 18 months. We will greatly miss them and wish them each much joy as they return home to their families and loved ones. They have assisted our Father in Heaven in His glorious work in helping “ to bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of man” (Moses 1:39).

Utah. They will be the mission vehicle co-ordinator and mission housing coordinator. We are grateful to have them join with us in serving in the great Australia Perth Mission.  

Follow Up Training

It is now 5 weeks since our newest missionaries arrived in the mission and met their trainers. Today they with their trainers attended follow up training to review their progress and set goals on what to accomplish in the next 7 weeks of their training.

Mission Leadership Council

Today we had a wonderful Mission Leadership Council. A number of the missionaries in the council have recently been assigned as Zone Leaders and Sister Training Leaders. Here is a photo of our wonderful young missionary leaders.

Zone Conferences

This past week our Zone Conferences were focused on becoming missionaries who strive with unwearied diligence in Studying, Planning and Proselyting.  Helaman 15:6, " Yea, I say unto you, that the more part of them are doing this, and they are striving with unwearied diligence that they may bring the remainder of their brethren to the knowledge of the truth; therefore there are many who do add to their numbers daily."
