Two of Our Beloved Missionaries Were Farewelled This Week

Our dear Sister from Mongolia has faithfully completed her mission and has served even a while longer than 18 months, due to the impact of Coronavirus on border restrictions. We also farewelled another dear Elder this week. He was reassigned to serve in the Charlotte North Carolina Mission. We wish him all the best. We are grateful for the dedicated service of these missionaries here in the great Australia Perth Mission, as a faithful disciples of Jesus Christ.

Zone Conferences July 2020

Last week we held 2 Zone Conferences, a Northern and a Southern.

We focussed on the importance of being steadfast and immovable as missionaries, always abounding in good works (Mosiah 5:15). Helping those we teach become steadfast and immovable on the commitment path is also part of our purpose. These missionaries in the Australia Perth Mission are awesome, as they teach and testify of our Saviour Jesus Christ and His Restored Gospel.

Mission Leadership Council

We counsel together on meeting the needs of missionaries, we make plans to help the mission progress and help the work of salvation move forward. The importance of unity in this work is essential, as we strive to bring souls unto Christ.  "Let us stand united together, shoulder to shoulder, heart to heart, and hand in hand, bonded together by that light than never grows dim. We'll hold our torches high that Christ's true light through us will shine, His name to glorify" (Sister Ardeth Kapp).

Another Great Missionary Completes His Mission and Returns Home

This past week we said farewell to another dear missionary, as he completed two years of full-time service in helping bringing others to Christ and His Restored Church.  As President Howard W Hunter said in Preach My Gospel, "What does the Atonement of Jesus Christ have to do with missionary work? Any time we experience the blessings of the Saviour's Atonement in our lives, we cannot help but have a concern for the welfare of others...A great indicator of one's personal conversion is the desire to share the gospel with others"
