Welcome to our new missionaries - all from the New Zealand MTC

 A big welcome to our new arriving missionaries, from New Zealand and Australia. We are so grateful for your devoting two years or eighteen months of your life full-time to the greatest cause on earth: Inviting others to come unto Christ, by helping them receive the restored gospel, through faith in Jesus Christ and His Atonement,  repentance, baptism, receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost and enduring to the end.

Transfers are always an exciting day as some missionaries are assigned new areas and new companions. The car park is always a buzz of excitement on transfer day as elders and sisters load up their cars and bikes ready for their new area.

Farewell to our Departing Missionaries

This week we said farewell to three of our great Elders and one of our dear senior missionary couples. How grateful we are for each of you and the great service you have rendered here in the Australia Perth Mission. We wish you all the best as you continue on the covenant path.

Senior Missionary Conference Weekend

This weekend we gathered together as senior missionaries to unite, serve, learn and fellowship together.
We began our conference with a temple session in the beautiful Perth temple. The next day we participated in a service activity, helping fold and hang clothing for the homeless, at a substation facility.  On Sunday we attended Northam branch together and later in the afternoon we had a devotional and dinner together at the mission home. We are eternally grateful for the senior missionaries who serve so faithfully and provide much love and support for the younger missionaries.

Kalgoorlie Visit, Come and See Devotional and Country Zone Conference

It was wonderful to visit with the Kalgoorlie members and missionaries. A Come and See Devotional about the Restoration and Book of Mormon was held on Saturday evening. "In a world ever more dangerous...the Book of Mormon: Another Testament of Jesus Christ has the nourishing power to heal starving spirits of the world" (President Boyd K Packer, Preach My Gospel pg.114).

We enjoyed gathering together also for Country Zone Conference Kalgoorlie. A big thank you to the Relief Society sisters who kindly provided a delicious lunch.
