Make Time for Your Loved Ones
Sometimes we may take our loved ones for granted. This video currently being shown on Channel 7 in Perth and Regional Western Australia is a timely reminder to care for those we love the most!

Welcome to Five Fantastic Missionaries
This past week we welcomed 5 missionaries to the Australia Perth Mission. Each of these missionaries were reassigned from overseas missions, which brings the number of our newly reassigned missionaries to 19. They were originally called to Papua New Guinea, Cote d'Ivoire Abidjan (Ivory Coast) in Africa, Zimbabwe, Japan and England. We now have 50 younger missionaries and 10 senior missionaries serving in the Australia Perth Mission.

"Make Time for Family" Media Campaign
During the next few weeks until the end of July, the Church in Western Australia will be showing 4 short videos as television commercials on Channel 7 in Perth and GWN7 in regional locations in Western Australia. The theme of each commercial is the importance to Make Time for Family.
This first video is entitled "By the Hour" and poses the question "Spend something on your family that shows them what they are worth - Spend Your Time".
We hope you enjoy it and share this timeless message with others.
We invite you to learn more by calling 1800MAKETIME within Australia. We can help show you how to spend the most valuable time with your family.

Farewell - Returning to Thailand
Farewells are some of the most difficult times in a mission. We look forward to the day when we can once more, meet again and rejoice, like the sons of Mosiah, that we are "still our brethren in the Lord."

Reinforcements Have Arrived
We are very grateful to receive 12 more wonderful missionaries, to serve in the great Australia Perth
Mission. Each of these missionaries have been re-assigned from their overseas missions. Some were completing their MTC training, some have been serving for a few weeks, some up to 16 months in countries including the Philippines, New Zealand, Mexico and Japan.
While Covid-19 has caused world-wide disruption, these missionaries being reassigned to the Perth Australia Mission due to Covid-19, are a great blessing as they go forth, two by two, preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ, as angels of God.
"And ye shall go forth in the power of my Spirit, preaching my gospel, two by two, in my name, lifting up your voices as with the sound of a trump, declaring my word, like unto angels of God (Doctrine and Covenants 42:6)."

Northern Zone Preparation Day
Zone Preparation Days are always uplifting and fun, but this was an extra special one as a companionship of sisters organized it. We went to Kings Park and had a BBQ lunch, played some "minute to win it" games, followed by a scavenger hunt. Thank you sisters for organizing a wonderful day out together!

Southern Zone and Northern Zone Conferences
What an exciting week this has been. We were able to have Zone Conferences in person with each of the younger missionaries. One of the blessings of having a smaller number of missionaries presently, is it enables us to meet together in person and abide by the social distancing guidelines for the number of people in a room.
Our Zone Conferences were focused on the importance of teaching. The Zone Leaders and Sister Training Leaders did wonderfully at how to teaching doctrine from the scriptures, and asking inspired questions. The Saviour is our perfect example of a teacher. He loved, ministered, taught from scriptures, taught pure doctrine, testified and promised blessings. He asked inspired questions, such as "what think ye of Christ."
What we truly think of Christ, will determine our actions. As His disciples in the Great Australia Perth Mission, we testify, that Jesus Christ is the literal Son of God. He is more than a great teacher, He is our Saviour and Redeemer of the world. He is the Jehovah of the Old Testament, and the Messiah of the New Testament. Under the direction of God the Father, He came into the world to teach the gospel by example, to save the world from sin, and to lead all of God's children into life eternal. It is through coming unto Him and His Restored Church, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, receiving the Holy Ghost and the ordinances of Salvation, that we gain enduring joy. We love, adore and honor Him.
