Farewell to Two Departing Missionaries

Last night we bid farewell to two wonderful sister missionaries. Both have served faithfully in different assignments throughout the mission. We are very grateful for their dedicated and honorable service. They have truly been Disciples of Christ.

We wish them all the best for the next important phase of their lives. May it be a wonderful reunion for them and their families. We love you sisters and may you find great hope and faith in this scripture, "Look unto me in every thought; doubt not, fear not." (Doctrine and Covenants 6:36).

A Big welcome to our newest senior missionary couple and 9 younger missionaries who arrived recently. These wonderful Missionaries have arrived from USA, Philippines and Australia. We are so grateful and excited you are here, serving in the Great Australia Perth Mission

Farewell To Our Departing Missionaries

We farewelled more of our wonderful missionaries recently. They have served the Lord with all their heart, might, mind and strength these past 18 months to 2 years. May you each continue to share the gospel of Jesus Christ throughout your lives. We will miss you.

Missionary Leadership Council

Our recent Missionary Leadership Council had a big focus on the Book of Mormon. It  truly is the word of God, is another testament of Jesus Christ and contains the fullness of His everlasting gospel.

Pilbara District Conference Weekend

This weekend the saints and missionaries from Karratha and Port Hedland branches gathered for the Pilbara District Conference weekend. Each day was filled with activities which brought fellowship and unity for both members and non-members alike. Saturday included outdoor family games followed by a family history afternoon, focusing on "who has my name." In the evening we had a delicious dinner followed by an outdoor evening of sharing many talents, including singing and dancing. Sunday morning we worshiped together, having sacrament meeting followed by a brief Sunday School class.

It was a wonderful Pilbara district conference weekend. Many thanks to the members and friends who organised, shared talents, provided meals and attended. "...that they should look forward with one eye, having one faith and one baptism, having their hearts knit together in unity and in love one toward another" (Mosiah 18: 21).

Rockingham Stake Conference today

Rockingham Stake Conference was held this weekend, with a strong focus on missionary work. Some powerful testimonies were born by some of those who have recently joined the church. There is no greater work and no greater joy than to help souls come unto Christ.
