We are ever grateful for the wonderful senior missionaries who serve so faithfully here in the great Australia Perth Mission. Some photos from our senior missionary conference are below. It was a great time to love, lift and inspire each other as we went to the temple, participated in a service activity, celebrated thanksgiving together and had training.

Farewell to three great missionaries

Three great missionaries have faithfully completed their missions and have returned home. They are preparing now to continue their life as disciples of Jesus Christ as they return home to fulfill their life's mission. Thank you for your service to the Lord here in the Great Australia Perth Mission.

A big welcome to a wonderful new missionary who has just arrived from France. She has two great trainers. "Companions become united in the work and together testify of Jesus Christ. They help each other learn and grow and support each other" (Missionary Standards for Disciples of Christ).

A big welcome also to our newest senior missionary couple. We are ever grateful for the senior missionary couples who bless the lives of all around them. In the great words of President Monson "we need many, many more senior couples...make yourselves available...there are few times in your lives when yo will enjoy so much the sweet spirit and satisfaction that come from serving together in the work of the Master."

Our recent Zone Conferences were focused on helping those we find, teach and baptize become life-long disciples of Christ. We learnt about how to make baptismal services spiritual highlights and also shared what we learnt from General Conference.

13 New Missionaries Arrive

We welcomed 13 new and wonderful missionaries this past week. The came from the Provo MTC, Philippines MTC and the New Zealand MTC. They are from the USA, Cambodia, Philippines, England and Tonga.

Farewell to 8 Wonderful Elders

Eight of our missionaries departed the Australia Perth Mission this past week. They will be greatly missed. They came from all different parts of the world. Thank you for your service and may you have a wonderful reunion with your families and loved ones and stayed lifelong disciples of Christ.
