Farewell Dear Elder and Sister Vawdrey

We farewelled Elder and Sister Vawdrey last night. They are one of our five wonderful senior couples who have blessed the lives of many here. Among many of their assignments, they have loved, lifted and served in Northam and Port Hedland. Thank you for leaving your families for a season to bless the lives of others. "What greater gift could grandparents give their posterity than to say by deed as well word, "In this family we serve missions!" Follow-up Training

Each of our four newest missionaries and their companions participated in follow-up training this week. What wonderful missionaries they are. We discussed the importance of unity, immersing ourselves in the scriptures, being preach my gospel missionaries, and striving to develop Christlike attributes. As Elder Rasband said, "Focus your thoughts and actions on eternal principles and study daily from the scriptures and teachings of His prophets. Observe mission rules, keep a cheerful countenance and pray. Pray all the time. Be Christlike."

Our Mission Christmas Zone Conference

What a joyous time of year is Christmas. Our missionaries celebrated with good food and good company as we focused on Jesus Christ, His divine birth, life and Atonement. How we love Him! "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life" (John 3:16).

Welcome to Our Four New Missionaries

We have been blessed to receive four new missionaries, two Elders and two Sisters. Welcome Elders and Sisters, may you have much joy in this the greatest challenge, the greatest cause and the greatest work on earth today. 

                                      

Farewell to Three More Dear Missionaries

 Three more of our missionaries departed for home this week. We will miss you each and are deeply grateful for your faithful, full-time service here in this part of the Lord's vineyard. May you return home continuing to rejoice.  Elder Rasband recently counselled missionaries world wide: "Go on your way rejoicing. Rejoice that you are immersed as a missionary in day-to-day, full-time service to the Redeemer of the World"

Zone Conferences for Northern and Southern Zones

Our  Zone Conferences this transfer were focused on our we can more effectively fulfill our missionary purpose through using the Book of Mormon. This Testament of Jesus Christ contains the fullness of His restored gospel, which we teach and testify of, daily.
