Zone Conferences and Rockingham Stake Conference!
Zone Conference: In the morning we focused on our Savior, Jesus Christ and his capacity to help us change and develop gradually over our life times into Men and Women of Christ (PMG 6). The joyful gift of repentance. In the afternoon we spent time in Chapter 11 of PMG, and reviewing Elder Renlund's great explanations of how we can better help our friends and investigators understand the blessings and the promises of the different parts of the doctrine of Christ we are teaching them. We need to feel motivated to change. Hope is a great motivator. Forgiveness is a great motivator. Personal peace is a great motivator. Feeling the love of our Heavenly Father and the guidance of the the Holy Spirit daily in our lives is a great motivator. etc.
Rockingham Stake Conference focused on the joys of Member Missionary Work! Many wonderful stories were shared by converts to the church as well as members who have felt joy as they have shared the gospel in their own personal ways with their families and friends.
